About stürmsfs

stürmsfs ag, based in Goldach, is a Swiss trading and services company for steel, metal and alternative materials. In addition to its classic range of steel and metal trading products, the company offers a broad processing program: sawing, deburring, dressing, chamfering, grinding, punching, drilling, riveting, trowalizing, surface cleaning, steel grit blasting and zinc dust priming. In the flame-cutting operation, autogenous flame cutting up to 250 mm material thickness, autogenous 3-D flame cutting up to 150 mm and plasma cutting up to 50 mm (steel) are performed. In the sheet metal service center, cut-to-size sheets in steel, aluminium and stainless steel are produced directly from coil, on request also brushed and ground. Materials include quality steel and bright steel, stainless steels, aluminium (including cast billets and profiles), copper as well as steel pipes and long products. The company employs around 240 staff at the Goldach, Arnegg, Härkingen, Oftringen and Klaus (AT) sites and generates revenue of around CHF 170 million. Its catchment area covers Switzerland, Vorarlberg, Tyrol, southern Germany, Slovakia and neighbouring countries.
