About STÜSSI
Stüssi Betonvorfabrikation AG is a family business founded in 1963, now in its third generation, headquartered in Dällikon in the Zurich Unterland. The company manufactures precast concrete elements for building construction: stair elements, rear-ventilated facade elements as well as custom-made products such as balcony slabs, parapets, roof edging, window sills, pilaster strips, columns, beams, planters, benches and grandstand elements. Production takes place weather-independently in the company's own hall with an energy-efficient concrete plant (2018); the elements are delivered and installed just-in-time. In addition to manufacturing, STÜSSI offers execution planning with an expert check as well as technical documentation such as product data sheets, CAD details and tender texts. Production is certified to SN EN 206, SN EN 13369 and SN EN 14843 under SÜGB supervision; since 2024 a 140-kWp photovoltaic system covers around 30 percent of electricity demand, and the remaining electricity is sourced 100 percent from renewable energy. Reference customers include Zurich Airport, SBB, ewz, ETH Zurich, Kunsthaus Zürich and David Chipperfield Architects.
