About Stummer
Stummer Kommunalfahrzeuge is a family-run Austrian vehicle manufacturer headquartered in Bischofshofen, specializing in bodies for waste collection vehicles. The company produces garbage truck bodies with volumes of 7 to 30 cubic meters – rear and side loaders, skip loaders and roll-off tippers, washing vehicles and special-purpose bodies – precisely tailored to the respective truck chassis, including alternative drives such as e-mobility. Production includes plasma cutting, welding, grinding and bolting of steel components as well as painting on a system with heat recovery; the industrial production of containers for truck swap systems is also part of the service portfolio. In addition, the company offers over 200 lifter variants for containers from 60 to 10,000 liters, safety and assistance systems such as recyclable-material scanners and camera inspection, as well as a nationwide service network offering maintenance, UVV (accident prevention regulation) inspections and repairs at ten locations in Austria and South Tyrol. As part of the Zoeller Group, Stummer supplies municipalities and waste management companies and is supported by more than 100 field service technicians across Europe.
