Company

Stumpfe GmbH, based in Weidenberg, is a specialist in fire-polished pressed spherical and aspherical optical lenses as well as small-format technical glass products. The product range includes biconvex, convex-concave, plano-convex and plano-concave lenses with diameters of 3 to 65 mm made of B270 or customer-supplied glass, plus cylindrical lenses, prisms, cones, and cover discs, step discs and filter glasses to customer specification. Production is carried out using mature craftsmanship on machines partly developed in-house; planning, tool design and construction of pressing tools including sampling are performed in-house. Radii are fire-polished pressed or, on request, ground and polished; centering of lenses, including with protective chamfer, as well as coatings on request complete the services. The focus is on small series with short-lead-time delivery to customers worldwide, including from the optics and technical glass industries.
