About STUTE
STUTE Nahrungsmittelwerke GmbH & Co. KG, founded in 1885 and still family-owned to this day, is a German food manufacturer headquartered in Paderborn. The company produces non-alcoholic beverages, jams, sweet spreads and preserves, mostly for private labels and branded products, and also acts as a contract filler. As a full-service provider, its offering includes production as well as suitable packaging solutions, logistics with its own high-bay warehouse and own vehicle fleet, plus marketing and placement in the chilled shelf. Customers come from Europe, North America and Australia; the subsidiary Willy L. Ahrens GmbH & Co. KG serves the discount retail channel, including production of the “River” brand for Aldi. At the Paderborn location, production takes place at two production sites covering an area of around 500,000 m². After insolvency petitions filed in self-administration in April 2024, business operations are focused on jams, spreads and beverages in flexible packaging at the Paderborn-Abtsbrede site.
