About SubCtech
SubCtech GmbH, based in Kiel, develops and produces maritime technologies in two business divisions: Ocean Power and Ocean Monitoring. In the Ocean Power division, the company manufactures lithium-ion battery systems for AUVs, ROVs, UPS applications and offshore subsea projects in the oil and gas industry, including custom batteries, energy storage systems and charging technology. In the Ocean Monitoring division, SubCtech produces autonomous underway measurement systems (FerryBox), including for pCO2 measurements, as well as optical CO2 analyzers with automatic calibration to SOCAT standard, subsea loggers, samplers and nutrient analyzers. The products range from compact 19-inch instruments to complete rack systems and are used in marine research, oceanography, marine and environmental monitoring, and offshore industrial projects. With over 15 years of experience and a flexible R&D department, the company implements customer-specific solutions including qualifications to standards such as API17F, MIL-STD, UN T38.3 and DNV-GL.
