About Rohrdorfer

Rohrdorfer produces high-quality construction materials for regional demand at 160 sites in Germany, Austria, Italy, Hungary and Slovakia. The product range comprises cement, ready-mixed concrete, precast elements, concrete products, dry construction materials as well as sand and gravel. Further business areas include the production of concrete admixtures, pumping services as well as products and services in the field of environmental technology. The products are used, among other things, for the construction of buildings, transport routes, infrastructure as well as commercial and industrial facilities. Clinker production at the Rohrdorf parent plant exceeded one million tonnes in the 2018 financial year; the ready-mixed concrete division tests around 800,000 m³ of concrete annually as part of in-house production control. As an energy-intensive company in the construction materials industry, Rohrdorfer pursues a decarbonisation strategy, among other things with the first CO2 recovery plant in the German cement industry, commissioned in 2022.
