The Südostbayerische Rundschau is a German daily newspaper and local edition of Passauer Neue Presse GmbH, which belongs to the Mediengruppe Bayern. From Monday to Saturday, the newspaper reports on three districts: Traunstein, Berchtesgadener Land and Altötting, with a geographic focus on the Rupertiwinkel on the Salzach river between Tittmoning, Laufen, Freilassing/Ainring, Lake Waginger See and Teisendorf. It is the official gazette of the town of Laufen and the Laufen district court, the town of Tittmoning as well as the municipalities of Fridolfing, Kirchanschöring and Petting. The TV guide rtv is inserted on Wednesdays. On 14 May 2013, the Südostbayerische Rundschau launched the news portal heimatzeitung.de for Southeast Bavaria together with Trostberger Tagblatt and Alt-Neuöttinger Anzeiger. The editorial office is located in Trostberg.
