About the Sülfelder Gutshof-Brennerei
The Sülfelder Gutshof-Brennerei is a historic distillery in Wolfsburg-Sülfeld that produces brandies, eaux-de-vie, gin, Korn grain spirit and liqueurs. The basis is natural raw materials such as grain, hand-picked fruits, berries such as sea buckthorn, aronia and rowan berries, green walnuts, apricots (Marillen) and aromatic roots; industrially produced flavors are avoided. Distiller Hermann Lübbecke-Grünhagen developed and patented an air-cooled still with air dephlegmation (Patent No. 10 2019 107 239), which distills gently and in fractions and achieves the optimal dew point for each aroma. The distillates are suitable, among other things, for whisky and Schwarz-Korn specialties as well as for cask aging. For liqueurs, the aromas are macerated from fresh fruit and further processed by hand. In addition to sales through the farm store and online shop, the offering includes distillery demonstrations, tastings and individual custom labels for companies and associations.
