About Sunae
Sunae is a Swiss manufacturer of kinetic sand tables that combine the Japanese tradition of sand drawing with modern technology. The product range includes the Orbit bowl (385 mm diameter), the Origin S and Origin M side tables, and the Dimension S, M and L dining tables. All products are designed, manufactured by hand in Switzerland and assembled by local craftsmen. The tables use a precise steel ball to continuously create new patterns in the sand and can be controlled via an intuitive smartphone app (iOS and Android) or via an integrated touch system. Each product is individually customizable and configurable to the customer's wishes. The company maintains a network of partner and exhibition locations in Switzerland as well as one location in Dubai.
