Sunflower Labs Inc. is a technology company founded in 2016 that developed the Beehive autonomous drone security system. The system consists of the automatic launch and charging platform Hive and the Bee drone, which takes off automatically upon motion detection, on a schedule or on demand, flies to targets and delivers live HD video. AI detection identifies people, vehicles and animals in real time, tracks suspicious movements and, through its visible presence, serves to deter intruders. The system can be integrated into existing security systems via RTSP streams, webhooks and an open API; video can be shared with monitoring centers to dispatch security services or authorities. A thermal camera is optionally available as a payload. Areas of use include industrial facilities and critical infrastructure, commercial properties as well as residential areas and communities. The company operates an R&D office in Stallikon near Zurich (Switzerland) and delivers systems to North America, Europe, Japan, Australia and Argentina.
