Radio systems manufacturer since 1990 – everything from a single source
SVS Nachrichtentechnik GmbH is a family-owned company in its second generation, founded in 1990 and headquartered in Trochtelfingen. The company develops, manufactures and sells radio systems for the wireless transmission of switching commands and signals, including handheld transmitters, fixed transmitters, radio receivers, radio modules as well as emergency call, paging and alerting systems. The products are characterized by long ranges of up to 1000 m (and beyond with an external antenna), proprietary RF power output stages and a proprietary radio protocol. The service portfolio includes full-service development from the initial idea to series production – as an embedded, module or stand-alone solution – including hardware and software development, product design, PCB assembly, mechanical CNC machining, assembly, support and repairs. Development work is supported by an in-house EMC test and measurement laboratory; the company also provides support with international approvals. Production ranges from prototypes to small and medium series. Fields of application include industry and trades, renewable energies (e.g. switching signal transmission in wind turbines), medical and social care facilities, public authorities/security as well as special-purpose vehicle manufacturing.
