About SVS

SVS is a US manufacturer of active subwoofers and speakers for the home sector. The product range includes ported and sealed active subwoofers from various series (including 1000 Pro, 3000, 3000 R|Evolution, 5000 R|Evolution, 17-Ultra R|Evolution, 3000 InWall) as well as the Prime and Ultra Evolution speaker series and matching accessories. The subwoofers rely on long-throw, large-format drivers with aluminium or fiberglass diaphragms, ferrite magnets and copper-wrapped aluminium voice coils, combined with powerful Class-D amplifiers (Sledge amplifier modules) and high-resolution DSP technology. Settings such as volume, crossover frequency, phase and parametric EQs can be controlled via a smartphone app, including automatic room calibration. In Germany, SVS distributes its products via the advisory hotline and authorized dealers, with quote creation, B-stock and promotions; selected models such as the SB-1000 Classic come with a 5-year warranty. Target groups are home cinema, music and gaming users.
