About SWAT Raised Bed

SWAT Superior Wood Arts & Treasures GmbH & Co. KG manufactures raised beds from robinia wood (acacia wood) in its workshop in Laatzen near Hanover. The products are handcrafted by experienced carpenters – from cutting to length, planing and milling through to assembly. The raised beds are available in more than 170 sizes and 6 heights and are delivered as a kit with four pre-assembled side panels. Instead of plastic sheeting or paint, the company relies on constructive wood protection and the natural durability of robinia (durability class 1–2), with a service life of 15 to 30 years in direct ground contact. The parts are joined exclusively with stainless steel screws. The robinia wood comes from European, FSC-certified sustainable forestry (licence no. FSC-C106855) and is 100 % recyclable. SWAT provides a five-year warranty on the wood.
