About SWIFT

SWIFT GmbH (Gesellschaft für Messwerterfassungs-Systeme mbH), based in Reinheim (Hesse), develops and manufactures directly classifying measurement data acquisition systems and software evaluation methods for Fatigue Life Monitoring and diagnostics. The company has been active in this field for more than 35 years. Its main product is the SWIFT MICRO-II measurement data acquisition system, used primarily for long-term measurements in the automotive sector, heavy machinery engineering and the aviation industry. In addition, the MAS MATCH series offers two- to eight-channel solutions for mobile short- and long-term measurements, including the MATCH-II-ADV with up to eight additional directions at a 2 kHz sampling rate for tower base monitoring in wind turbines, as well as the autonomous recorder MAS-MICRO-III-X with 4 to 40 channels for Fourier transform and PSD analysis. The systems acquire quantities such as force, velocity, temperatures and acceleration and enable statistical service life and damage predictions. In addition to hardware and software, SWIFT offers complete measurement services including concept development, strain gauge and sensor installation, test support and evaluation reports, as well as service, maintenance and remote data transmission. As part of a funding project of the state of Hesse, the company and research partners developed a Structural Health Monitoring System (SHM) for online damage detection.
