SwissDrives AG, headquartered in Steinach on Lake Constance with a branch office in Marly, is an engineering and trading company for drive and control technology as well as Yaskawa robotics in Switzerland. The company develops customised drive, inverter and control solutions from mechatronics through to software (MotoSwiss) and implements robotic welding systems, pump control systems with low-harmonic inverters as well as control cabinet construction including mechanical machining and painting. In the electrical/industrial trading business with partner Alexander Bürkle, around 3.8 million products are available along with services such as C-parts management, wire harness assembly, module and cable assembly and JIT deliveries. Customers come from among others rail technology, mechanical and plant engineering, the semiconductor, food and watch industries as well as the energy supply sector; deliveries are also made to Slovenia, Great Britain, North America and Asia. Since 2009, SwissDrives has been the official representative partner of Yaskawa in Switzerland.
