Swissfilter AG, based in Muhen (Canton Aargau, Switzerland), has specialised since 1974 in filter technology solutions for industrial filtration. The product range includes standardised and custom filter housings (bag, cartridge and basket filter housings), filter cartridges (pleated, membrane, depth, stainless steel and hollow fibre filter cartridges), filter bags, filter capsules and custom fabrications such as filter hoses, filter discs and tie-on bags. The programme is complemented by BFM® flexible connectors, CinchSeal® shaft seals, round sieve machines and pressure measurement technology. Filter housings are made of stainless steel (AISI 304, 1.4404), Hastelloy C22, plastic or special materials such as Monel, with polished, glass-bead blasted or coated surfaces. Main industries are the pharmaceutical and fine chemicals industry, the chemical industry, the food and beverage industry and water treatment; further applications are found in the cosmetics, electronics, petrochemical and paper industries. As services, the company offers warehousing of custom filters, after-sales service, consulting and support in creating validation guides for the pharmaceutical industry. All products can be certified in accordance with FDA and EC/EU directives.
