About SWL Maschinenbau
SWL Maschinenbau GmbH is a family-owned company founded in 1986, headquartered in Hersbruck near Nuremberg. The company builds custom machines for the food industry, including conveyor technology, line merge systems, dosing scales, and leveling and sorting systems, and also offers CNC parts manufacturing, welding and metalworking, as well as planning and design from a single source. Parts manufacturing comprises turned and milled parts made of steel, tool steel, stainless steel, brass, copper, aluminum and various plastics – both as series production to drawing and as spare part fabrication based on a sample. Special components are produced in the in-house metalworking shop; the acquired business areas of Liebel Wägetechnik and AuVeSo GmbH round out the program with weighing, dosing and sorting technology. Customers include Bizerba, Georg Müller Nuremberg, EVB, Weinmann, Clever-Etiketten, Photon Energy and GEA. Since 2006, Markus Seitz has led the company in its second generation.
