About Sykam
SYKAM – Systems and Components for Analytical Measurement – has been developing and producing chromatography instruments since the early 1990s in Fürstenfeldbruck in southern Bavaria, west of Munich. At the site, complete analytical systems, modular components, separation columns, reagents and software are developed, manufactured and tested. The portfolio comprises analytical HPLC systems (S 600 series), Radio-HPLC with NaI(Tl) scintillation detector, isocratic pumps, UV/Vis detectors, autosamplers, amino acid analyzers and ion chromatographs. The company operates both as a direct supplier and as an OEM manufacturing partner, and also builds custom chromatography production systems – from concept development through engineering to turnkey commissioning. Buffers, eluents and reagents are produced in the company's own TWC production facility. Customers include research institutions, food safety laboratories, pharmaceutical quality control as well as industrial monitoring and radiopharmacy facilities; the systems are in use in laboratories in over 50 countries.
