About Syncharis
Syncharis develops decentralized biomass energy systems that convert biogenic raw and residual materials such as digestate, wood residues, sewage sludge, green waste and landscape management material into baseload-capable heat and power – optionally with biochar as a CO₂ sink. The service portfolio includes resource analysis, technology selection and engineering (gasification, pyrolysis, CHP), system integration with heat and power concepts, storage, grids and operating strategies, as well as regulatory and subsidy consulting and profitability calculations. The plants are scaled modularly from 250 kW to multi-MW; according to the company, efficiencies of up to 87% and payback periods of 3–7 years are achievable. In addition to project development, Syncharis handles biomass preparation (drying, pelletizing, size reduction), logistics and storage, commissioning, plant operation, remote monitoring as well as maintenance and spare parts management. Target groups include municipalities, industry, neighborhoods, biogas plant operators, waste management companies, energy suppliers, investors and agriculture and forestry. The company is a GmbH based at Könneritzstraße 81 in Leipzig, commercial register HRB 43984 of the Leipzig Local Court, represented by Dr.-Ing. Thomas Rothe.
