About SynCon Systems

SynCon Systems GmbH develops and manufactures special machinery, individual stations and customised automation solutions for industrial production and assembly processes. The scope of services includes engineering with mechanical design and electrical development, software design, automation, production as well as laser and process technology and measurement and testing technology including test and validation. The company deliberately focuses on precise individual stations and custom systems rather than large-scale plants. Customers come, among others, from the automotive industry, the e-mobility and energy storage sector, and mechanical and plant engineering; SynCon Systems contributed testing technology and laser welding to the new BMW battery gigafactory in Irlbach-Straßkirchen. The company was founded in June 2026 as part of a management buy-out and continues the competencies of a site that belonged to the thyssenkrupp Group from 1991 to 2026 and whose roots date back to 1883. Around 80 qualified employees work at the Hohenstein-Ernstthal site in the Technology & Innovation Centre (TIC).
