About Synopac AG
Synopac AG, headquartered in Aesch (BL), develops, manufactures and sells modular packaging machines for filling, capping, labeling and sealing processes. The company originated from the FERMPRESS crimping pliers patented in 1952 and is today a supplier to cosmetics manufacturers, food processors, contract fillers, pharmaceutical operations, chemical companies as well as producers of detergents and cleaning agents. The machine concept is based on modular expansion options: semi-automatic machines can be extended with turntables, conveyor belts and capping modules into partial or fully automatic systems without losing prior investments. The product range includes filling machines with peristaltic, gear and piston pumps as well as mass-flow dosers, auger dosers from 25 mg to 225 kg, tablet counters, crimping, press-on and screw-capping machines, inductive and conductive sealing devices as well as labeling and sleeving machines. Complete packaging lines are built in cooperation with partner companies such as Filling Evolution, Seven Fluss, CDA, Per-Fil and PDC Europe. Customer products are tested and filling protocols created in the company's own test laboratory in Aesch.

Dr. Josef Müller-Strobel files the patent CH315839A on 13 November 1952 for removing metal caps from bottles; development of the FERMPRESS 4-jaw crimping pliers.

Cooperation agreement between Flaigg and Müller for the worldwide distribution of FERMPRESS products; distribution of Wheaton pharmaceutical bottles made of borosilicate glass in Europe by G.A. Flaigg.
- 2000
Stephan Vogel acquires Fermpress Apparate AG, renames it Synopac AG and integrates it into the Artopac Group; expansion of the range to the food industry, contract packers, cosmetics and chemicals.
- 2016
Céline Vogel joins the company after technical training and later becomes a member of the board of directors; the handover of operational management has been initiated.
