About Synple Chem
Synple Chem is a spin-off of ETH Zurich founded in 2016, headquartered in Kemptthal (Switzerland). The company develops and manufactures automated synthesizers for organic chemistry that work on the principle of a coffee capsule machine: starting material and a single-use reagent capsule are loaded, and the machine handles reaction, work-up and purification fully automatically. The portfolio includes the compact capsule-based synthesizer Synple 2 (footprint 25 x 35 cm), the Synple 1, and the flexible parallel synthesizer Synple Unity. In addition, Synple Chem offers reagent cartridges for eight reaction classes with over 40 reagents, reaction kits, and with Synple 4.0 a solution for the synthesis of hits from virtual libraries. Customers come from pharma, biotech, CROs and academic research and are located in Europe, the USA and Asia. The team is continuously developing new reaction classes to accelerate discovery research.
