About STB
SystemTechnik für Betriebsmittel GmbH (STB) has stood for tool management since 1999 and develops, designs and manufactures automated tool and industrial supplies dispensing systems. The portfolio includes drawer shelving systems, weighing cell cabinets, spiral and drum vending machines, tool and fan cabinets, round carousel, paternoster and lift systems, and vertical pull-out cabinets. All systems are controlled by the in-house inventory management software SmartStockSolutions®, which covers ERP connections, measuring equipment management, consumption and cost analyses, and automatic reordering, among other features. Dispensing is personalized via RFID or PIN, and every withdrawal is automatically documented. The systems can be coupled and expanded and can be integrated manufacturer-independently into existing merchandise management and ERP systems. STB also develops prototypes and custom software and provides long-term customer support. In addition to tools and industrial supplies, personal protective equipment, electronic components and consumables are also managed; customers include Deutsche Bahn.
