About Talga Group
Talga Group Ltd is a vertically integrated materials company headquartered in West Perth, Australia, developing and producing battery-qualified active anode materials from natural graphite as well as graphene-based and silicon-containing composite materials. The company's own high-grade Vittangi graphite deposit in northern Sweden is fully permitted and forms the raw material base; refining takes place at the anode refinery (EVA Plant) in Luleå, which has been in operation since 2022 and produces material for customer qualification. The product portfolio comprises coated spherical graphite (Talnode-C), recycled graphite from black mass and production waste (Talnode-R) and silicon-carbon composites (Talnode-Si), each suitable for wet and dry electrode processes. The Battery Centre of Excellence in Cambridge (UK) is dedicated to material development and characterisation, while the Rudolstadt site in Germany (Talga Advanced Materials GmbH) serves the scale-up of processing technologies and graphene production. Customer industries include electromobility, stationary energy storage systems and consumer electronics; offtake and LOI partnerships exist, among others, with Nyobolt, Hanwa, Dainen, Mitsubishi Chemical, Verkor and ACC.
