TAMI Deutschland GmbH is the German subsidiary of TAMI Industries S.A., founded in 1993 in Nyons/France, which specializes in the development and manufacture of ceramic tubular membranes for cross-flow micro-, ultra- and fine ultrafiltration of liquid media. The ceramic membranes are used in filtration and separation processes in the food and beverage industry, chemical process engineering, biotechnology/biopharma, and water and wastewater treatment. At the Hermsdorf site, TAMI Deutschland produces the coarsely porous membrane supports (porous ceramics) and distributes the membrane filters in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the Benelux countries, and Northern, Central and Eastern Europe. The entire production line – from support material to the separating active layer – is realized in-house; the membranes are offered under the patented brands Inside Céram™, Isoflux™, Eternium™ and Filtanium™. The portfolio also includes membrane housings with various connections as well as laboratory products such as the Zig Zag module and the Inside Disram™ disc membranes. In addition, the company offers consulting on customized filtration and separation solutions as well as test and pilot systems of various sizes and configurations for validating filtration tasks.
