Tampongalvanik Mario Fuhrmann is a specialised provider of mobile surface repair using tampon electroplating. Founded in 1996, the sole proprietorship from Chemnitz performs electroplated metal deposition directly on site and restores damaged machine surfaces – without disassembly and with minimal production downtime. Repairs cover printing and heating cylinders (including those with ceramic surfaces), calender, heating, cooling, casting and smoothing rollers, as well as ring and slot dies, scraped guideways, injection moulding tools and piston rods. In addition, the company offers partial copper plating, silver plating and nickel plating, for example silver plating of electronic copper contact surfaces or repair of electroless nickel coatings. Repaired areas are ground to size. Fields of application are the printing industry, film production, mechanical engineering, hydraulics and electrical/electronics. The mobile service operates throughout the entire German-speaking region and is available around the clock.
