Tannenhof – Enjoyment since 1975

Since 1975, Tannenhof has been producing Black Forest ham as well as other ham and sausage specialities. Production takes place in Niedereschach on the eastern edge of the Black Forest, following traditional recipes of Black Forest master butchers and in artisanal tradition. During production, checks are carried out along the entire process, from raw material selection through continuous controls during processing to packaging. The fresh meat used comes exclusively from pigs from controlled breeding with species-appropriate husbandry. The company participates in the QS inspection scheme for food, one of the leading control systems for meat and sausage products in Germany, which monitors quality across all production stages from production through processing to retail. Around 150 employees work on a production area of 32,000 m². In addition, all production steps are continuously optimised with regard to the use of raw materials, air, water and energy as well as the resulting residual materials.
