About TAURUS Systems

TAURUS Systems GmbH (TSG) was founded in 1998 by its shareholders MBDA Deutschland GmbH (Germany) and Saab Dynamics AB (Sweden). The company acts as prime contractor and design authority for the TAURUS weapon system. TSG's expertise covers all aspects of the development and manufacture of stand-off weapon systems – from initial concept studies to fully developed, operational integrated system solutions, including so-called 'Effects-based Operations'. In addition, the company supports complete solutions across the entire life cycle of every weapon system. In 2014, TSG founded the subsidiary TAURUS Systems Korea in Seoul, which provides local services in programme management, business development, marketing & sales as well as maintenance and ongoing product support. The company is headquartered in Schrobenhausen.
