TB Sondermaschinen from Bad Kötzting has offered special machinery construction, CNC contract manufacturing and repair services since 1990. The company designs and manufactures components, fixtures and systems for industries such as metal, wood, glass, plastics, food and medicine, and also supports the planning of manufacturing for patent ideas. CNC contract manufacturing covers complex single parts and small series in various materials, including 3D surface milling, 5-axis simultaneous milling, CNC turning, wire EDM and CNC surface grinding. In the in-house repair center, metallic machine parts are restored, among other things through flame spraying, MIG/MAG welding on aluminium and stainless steel, common hardening processes and the reconditioning of synchronizer rings for gearboxes. Design is carried out with Solid Edge and Solid Works, production via VISI CAD/CAM workstations with paperless import of common file formats. The in-house machine fleet is continuously updated, and quality is ensured by measurements on a digital infrared measuring station.
