About us
TBA Projekt GmbH is a mid-sized metalworking company from Ahlen in Westphalia. The company manufactures custom workpieces and components in project development, design and contract work: milled, turned, sawed, drilled, ground and eroded. The machine fleet includes modern 3-axis and 5-axis machining centers (simultaneous machining), CNC lathes, wire EDM machines in underwater technology, die-sinking EDM, precision surface and profile grinding machines as well as waterjet cutting. In addition, heat treatment (hardening and tempering), micro glass bead blasting, laser marking, broaching, drilling, welding and final assembly with adjustment are offered. CAD/CAM programming including 5-axis simultaneous programming, image-guided and mobile 3D coordinate measuring machines as well as hardness testing ensure component quality. Customers include companies from the automotive and pipe processing industries, mechanical and process engineering, rail vehicle, electronics and automation, plastics, as well as food and pharmaceutical industries. Production and administration are located at a single site in the Vatheuershof industrial park in Ahlen; in 2023 the company was acquired by Gebhardt Holding GmbH.

Inspection is carried out using a Keyence image-guided and mobile 3D coordinate measuring machine as well as hardness testing; all measuring and inspection equipment is audited annually by a calibration service. A permanently assigned quality management officer accompanies production.
