About us
Technisches Büro Kassel (TBK) is a design office founded in 1998 by Georg Sirrenberg, serving modern and classical mechanical engineering as well as the manufacturing sector. It also acts as an inspection office for technical documentation of Volkswagen AG and Audi AG and is connected to the partner company networks of both manufacturers via Connect and OFTP2. Its service portfolio includes mechanical engineering design (special machinery, fixtures, steel construction, assembly technology, forming technology), factory planning and the creation of hall and plant layouts in Microstation (DGN format), visualization of almost all trades with Microstation and Venturis, as well as electrical and fluid diagrams in ePlan. Furthermore, TBK creates specification-compliant machinery and plant documentation and staged-drawing (process sequence) drawings of high-volume production parts such as shift wheels, transmission shafts, sliding sleeves and synchronizer bodies. The main target group is the automotive industry with all affiliated sectors; customers include, among others, the VW Group, Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz as well as their suppliers.
