About TBV Refrigerated Vehicles
TBV GmbH is a specialised German manufacturer of refrigerated vehicles and refrigerated bodies. The company develops and produces temperature-controlled bodies for vehicle classes from 3.5 t via 7.49 t up to 26 t gross weight, from consulting and vehicle configuration through engineering to handover. The cargo boxes are built as sandwich construction with a CFC-free polyurethane core and GRP outer skin; for the interior, stainless steel, aluminium, GRP or food-grade PE liners are used depending on the industry. Typical products include multi-temperature bodies with movable partitions and a dedicated evaporator per zone, GDP-qualified pharmaceutical bodies with DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ documentation and temperature mapping, as well as rail systems for hanging meat transport. The bodies are also integrated onto electric chassis such as the Mercedes-Benz eSprinter. The offering is rounded out by repair, maintenance, ATP testing, rental vehicles and a Europe-wide network of service partners. Headquarters and production are located in Willstätt-Sand; the vehicles are in use throughout Europe.

Materials & Processes
Polyurethane core with GRP outer skin
CFC-free sandwich panels for temperature-stable, well-insulated cargo boxes with reduced compressor cycles.
Stainless steel V4A
Alloyed with molybdenum, fittings, hinges and lashing eyes resist chlorides from brine and ice water.
Stainless steel V2A
For meat-contacting components such as rail systems per DIN 17455, BfR-compliant for food contact.
Stainless steel
Corrosion-resistant stainless steel for door locks, hinges and lashing rails in condensation zones.
Aluminium
For movable partitions, cross walls and checkered plate flooring with high payload.
Glass-fibre reinforced plastic
Low-joint interior linings and hard floors, HACCP-compliant cleanable and suitable for high-pressure cleaning.
PE liners
Food-grade interior liners for saltwater-resistant wall and ceiling linings without undercuts.
Cold-resistant PVC strip curtains
Reduce air exchange during frequent door openings by up to 80 percent.

Quality & Certification
Every vehicle is inspected and tested; pharmaceutical bodies are delivered with DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ qualification, temperature mapping and DAkkS-traceable calibration. The multi-zone telematics documents up to six temperature sensors per body in accordance with DIN EN 12830, and ATP testing is offered at the factory.
