About TCS
TCS TürControlSysteme AG was founded in 1995 in Genthin (Saxony-Anhalt) and develops, manufactures and sells systems for door and building communication, access control as well as home automation and monitoring. With the TCS:BUS, the company brought the world's first door intercom system based on a software-controlled BUS system to market; the product range today comprises more than 2000 products, from a simple door intercom to large systems for several hundred residential units. At its headquarters in Genthin, TCS manufactures small, medium and large series on over 2000 square metres within an ESD-protected area; since 2018 an automated assembly line for electronic circuit boards has been in operation there, along with CNC lasers, CNC milling machines, a CNC press brake and conventional machining equipment for metalworking and coating. The manufactory in Triberg in the Black Forest produces customer-specific one-off items, while the Shanghai subsidiary Intelligent Building Technology (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. handles development, distribution and production for the Asian region. In addition to its own product range, TCS acts as an OEM/ODM system supplier for European industrial customers such as René Koch, Niko, Scantron, Auerswald and Schüco. The products are used, among other things, in the housing sector, by public and educational institutions, and in care and health services.
