TDE ERMAFA Equipment and Manufacturing GmbH is the manufacturing site of the TDE Group in Ellefeld, Saxony. The company operates a fully automated, robot-assisted CNC precision machining operation dedicated exclusively to the production of components for tde powerline – a downhole-capable power and data highway system for intelligent digital drilling systems in the oil and gas industry. The value chain includes CNC machining, quality control, warehousing and packaging to ensure an uninterrupted supply chain for the global provision of tde powerline services. The tde powerline technology delivers 300 watts of electrical power through the drill string to the drill bit assembly and supports bidirectional communication at 200,000 bit/sec. TDE ERMAFA is part of the TDE Group, which can look back on more than 24 years of experience in the energy industry and works with over 150 companies worldwide. Customers of the manufacturing and services include Parker Wellbore and OMV Petrom, among others.
