About TDL Energie
TDL Energie GmbH is a plant manufacturer specializing in water and gas treatment technology, based in Neumünster, Schleswig-Holstein. The company designs, manufactures, delivers, installs and commissions plants for the treatment of landfill leachate, industrial wastewater and digestate – from containerized reverse osmosis systems (30–300 m³/d per container) to membrane bioreactors, micro-/ultrafiltration and activated carbon adsorption, as well as ion exchangers and ozonation. In the field of gas technology, the company offers landfill gas utilization and disposal, gas compressor stations, low-calorific-gas and high-temperature flares as well as CHP solutions. Since 2013, TDL Energie has been building and operating reverse osmosis plants at locations in Europe, Russia, North Africa and South America, including projects in England, Ireland, Latvia, Ukraine, Romania, Albania and Brazil. Since 2019, the company has been part of the BMWi-funded innovation network PerFluSan addressing the PFAS issue. In addition to new plants, TDL offers retrofit, upgrading, maintenance, spare parts management, remote monitoring, rental and operator models as well as plant operation services.

Technologies and Processes
Reverse osmosis (RO)
High-pressure membrane process for purifying landfill leachate and industrial wastewater with capacities of 30 to 300 m³/d per container.
Nanofiltration (NF)
Membrane process for treating saline wastewater and as a post-treatment stage.
Membrane bioreactor (MBR)
Biological treatment with downstream ultrafiltration, standard sizes 50–250 m³/d, up to direct-discharge quality.
Micro-/ultrafiltration
Crossflow filtration with cut-off levels of approx. 0.1 µm and 0.005 µm respectively, containerized or in skid design.
Activated carbon adsorption
Granulated activated carbon in fixed-bed or mobile adsorbers, among other things for PFAS and trace substances, from 20 m³/d.
Ion exchanger (selective ammonium)
Post-treatment stage downstream of reverse osmosis to fall below strict ammonium discharge limits.
Ozonation / PAC dosing
Fourth treatment stage for the elimination of trace substances in municipal wastewater treatment plants.
Landfill gas technology
Gas compressor stations, low-calorific-gas and high-temperature flares as well as CHP solutions with partner Göbel Energie- und Umwelttechnik.
