About TEAM Automation Berlin

TEAM Automation Berlin is a provider of automation solutions specializing in custom machinery, based in Berlin. The company designs, engineers, manufactures, and commissions manual workplaces, semi-automatic systems, and fully automatic, linked assembly lines – from feasibility and cycle time analysis through mechanical design, CAE-supported electrical and pneumatic planning, control cabinet construction, and software development to assembly, delivery, and global after-sales service. On more than 2,500 m² of assembly and workshop space, fixtures and complete production systems are set up and commissioned in parallel. Process competence includes, among other things, resistance and laser welding, plastic injection molding, inductive heating, wire winding, stamping and forming, laser marking, as well as EOLT and functional testing systems. Since around 2006, TEAM Automation Berlin has been supplying renowned automotive suppliers worldwide with semi- and fully automatic assembly systems for exhaust throttle valves and electronic actuators. Other fields of application include electrical engineering, medical technology, solar, chemistry, battery management, and security technology.

Processes and Materials

Al

Aluminum

Used, among other things, as a sealing film when filling and sealing dosing caps and cuvettes with argon.

Cu

Copper

Copper wire with a diameter of 32–50 µm is wound onto coil bodies, e.g. for transponder coils.

KU

Plastic

Components are injection-molded in-line with plastic injection molding machines in up to four cavities.

ST

Steel

Sheet metal parts are fed, pre-assembled, and joined by 360° laser welding.
