About Technagon
Technagon GmbH is a company founded in 2009 in Grafenau in the Bavarian Forest that specializes in the development and manufacture of charging solutions for electromobility. The portfolio includes metrology-compliant AC charging stations (P40, P45, P80), wallboxes (TEW3, TEW4, TEW4 HAK) and the W50 DC fast-charging station with 50 kW charging power. The core of all products is an in-house developed charging module certified as a closed unit under calibration law, which can be replaced in case of service without renewed metrological placing on the market. The hardware and software including charging controller and circuit boards are developed in-house; electronics manufacturing takes place with integrated testing processes (AOI, Flying Probe) at the sister company Dittrich & Greipl at the same location. The charging stations are produced as standard and customized white-label solutions for the public and semi-public sector and are used, among others, by Porsche, Audi, E.ON and eze.network. For 2023, delivery of around 10,000 charging points was planned.

Quality & Certification
The in-house manufactured electronic assemblies are safeguarded by integrated testing processes: a CyberOptics SQ 3000 AOI system for optical 3D inspection and an ACCULOGIC Scorpion FLS flying probe test system for Smart ICT, short-circuit tests and open-pin detection. The charging module is certified under calibration law (type examination and Module D at the test house CSA in Straubing), and the charging systems are SAP backend certified (OCPP 1.6).
