TechniSat Digital GmbH, headquartered in Daun (Eifel), develops and produces consumer electronics such as digital radios, televisions, receivers, satellite and broadband cable technology as well as smart home and electromobility solutions (TechniVolt wallboxes). The family-owned company, founded in 1987 by Peter Lepper, is part of the LEPPER Stiftung e.S. and employs more than 1,000 people worldwide. The entire value chain from development through production to sales and service is handled in-house; electronics devices are produced, among other places, in Schöneck (TechniSat Vogtland GmbH). In addition, TechniSat offers EMS services (Electronic Manufacturing Services) for business customers, including repair and device take-back. Customer service centers are located in Daun and Staßfurt; further sites are located in Shenzhen (China) and Abasár (Hungary).
