Technisches Büro Mautz is a sole proprietorship founded in August 2009, based in Gratwein-Straßengel near Graz. The company's scope of business covers mechanical and steel construction; its main activities are manufacturing metrology, design and development in mechanical engineering, and training in manufacturing metrology and mechanical engineering. Further services include measuring instrument monitoring and verification as well as acceptance testing of machine tools, including machine tool surveying in accordance with ISO 230. Owner DI Dr.techn. Armin Mautz studied production engineering at Graz University of Technology, earned his doctorate in CNC out-of-round grinding, and was a university assistant at the Institute of Manufacturing Technology as well as head of the central workshop of Graz University of Technology. Customers include companies from mechanical and apparatus engineering as well as from education and training, among them Christof Group, ACE Apparatebau, Campus 02, Bulme Academy and Eisbär Trockentechnik.
