About Technoform
Technoform is a family business founded in 1969 in Fuldabrück near Kassel, headquartered in Kassel with more than 1,400 employees and over 55 production and sales locations worldwide (2024 revenue: EUR 319.1 million). The company manufactures high-precision thermoplastic profiles and custom components made of engineering plastics. Its core process is a high-precision extrusion process that makes even difficult-to-process plastics such as PEI — normally only suitable for injection moulding — reliably processable. Characteristic features are very tight tolerances, smooth surfaces and sharp contours; in addition, Technoform extrudes compounds with short and long fibres of glass, carbon and mineral with high filler content. Product portfolio: thermal break profiles for aluminium windows, doors and facades, warm-edge spacers for insulating glass (Technoform Glass Insulation), heat transfer solutions for corrosive environments, pultruded profiles and custom profiles for, among others, automotive, aerospace, electrical engineering, rail, HVAC and medical technology. Downstream processing includes sawing, milling, drilling, marking and packaging. Locations in Germany: Kassel (headquarters) and Lohfelden (production/sales, Otto-Hahn-Str. 34).
