About Technogel

Technogel Italia S.r.l., headquartered in Vicenza (Italy), is a manufacturer of cushioning and pressure-relieving products based on the company's own patented material Technogel®, a phthalate-free polyurethane gel originally developed by Bayer Material Science and licensed exclusively to Technogel. The gel deforms in three dimensions, combining fluid-like adaptability with the supportive effect of a solid, and offers thermoregulating properties; it is processed in the patented tower design with ventilated channels in combination with viscoelastic memory foam. The product range includes gel mattresses, pillows (Original, Travel, VIVE and LAB collections), seat cushions and ergonomic living accessories. Originally developed for medical applications such as wheelchair and hospital bed cushions, the company today also supplies office furniture and luxury brands such as Vitra, Steelcase, Humanscale and Prada, as well as special projects with Philippe Starck and Mariko Mori. Through the B2B offering 'Industrial Collaboration', Technogel adapts the gel material to individual performance requirements and supports customers from development through to implementation. Manufacturing takes place in Italy with Italian handcrafting, while design and development have a connection to Germany.
