Technosoft, based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, specialises in the development, design and manufacture of motion-control products and custom motion systems. The company produces intelligent servo controllers, compact drives and intelligent motors that combine motion controllers, servo amplifiers and — in the iMOT series — also motor and encoder in a single unit. At the core of the products is the proprietary MotionChip™, a dedicated DSP solution for motion control, programmed via the high-level language TML (Technosoft Motion Language), enabling autonomous, masterless multi-axis applications. In addition to the standard product lines, Technosoft offers modular OEM solutions with application-specific control electronics at the hardware and software level, which can be prototyped quickly and easily. The products support the motor types DC, BLDC/PMSM, linear and stepper as well as the communication protocols RS232, CAN/TMLCAN, CANopen, EtherCAT and Ethernet. Fields of application include medical technology, robotics, laboratory automation, factory automation, the semiconductor industry, packaging, instrumentation and optics, textile machinery and industrial plants. Since 1995, Technosoft has been an active third-party partner of Texas Instruments for DSPs.
