Techvalley Co., Ltd. is a South Korean manufacturer of industrial X-ray inspection and analysis systems, founded in 1997 and headquartered in Seongnam. The company manufactures automated X-ray inspection systems (AXI) for in-line inspection, 2D radiography systems, industrial 3D computed tomography scanners as well as X-ray chip counters and analysis equipment such as XRD, XRF and SAXS. All evaluation software and automatic image recognition is developed in its own research laboratory; the company holds more than 80 X-ray-related patents. At its plant in Gwangju, Techvalley operates KARAD (Korea Advanced Radiography Analysis Division), a KOLAS-accredited inspection facility for non-destructive X-ray and CT testing services, including a 600-kV high-performance system for large-volume specimens such as die-cast parts, automotive and aerospace components as well as Nano-/Micro-Tube-CT for the smallest parts. Inspection objects include PCB/FPCB, SMD components, camera modules, LED, batteries, die castings and ECU boards. Customers include Samsung Electronics, LG, Hanwha and research institutions; around 800 systems have been delivered, with exports to Europe, North America and Asia, among others.
