About Teddy-Hermann

Teddy-Hermann GmbH is an international plush animal manufacturer based in Hirschaid near Bamberg and is one of the oldest teddy bear manufacturers in Germany. The company was founded in 1912 by Bernhard Hermann under the name BE-HA in Sonneberg and today produces three product lines: Hermann Teddy Original, Hermann Teddy Miniatures and Hermann Teddy Collection. The collector and nostalgia teddy bears of the Hermann Teddy Original line are made by hand from mohair in Hirschaid, while the Collection line is made from synthetic and other fabrics for children and adults. In addition to its standard range, the company specialises in the production of custom plush special productions in higher volumes, which are used as goodwill ambassadors by businesses; promotional finishes such as cloth, scarf, ribbon or label are also offered. The products comply with the European safety directives for toys. Management is held by Dorothee Weinhold and Bernd Mischner, the fourth generation of the founding family.
