TEDI Technische Dienste GmbH is a manufacturer-independent provider of machine and plant service, mechanical manufacturing, special machine construction and automation based in the Hanseatic city of Salzwedel. The service portfolio includes inspection, maintenance and repair of conventional and CNC-controlled machine and plant technology including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrics and electronics, retrofit and control upgrades with NC and PLC programming, laser measurement of machine tools including CNC error compensation as well as partial and general overhauls. Mechanical manufacturing has been an integral part of the service portfolio for more than 20 years; on 5-axis machining centres with HEIDENHAIN controls, individual parts, small series and assemblies made of aluminium, stainless steel and titanium are produced with machining tolerances down to the micrometre range. In addition, TEDI designs and manufactures special machines and fixtures to customer specifications, implements robot cells and PLC programming, maintains cranes, hoists and conveyor technology including DGUV inspections, and has been an authorised HEIDENHAIN representative since 1993. Its activities range from the wire industry to space technology, shipbuilding and the automotive supply industry through to the food, medical and semiconductor industries.
