The group manufactures standard and special cranes – including gantry cranes, overhead travelling cranes, container cranes for seaports and shaft cranes – as well as crane components such as bogies, wheels, lower blocks, rope drums and load-handling attachments made of steel and special steel. Further services include mechanical and steel construction, special steel construction, electrics for crane and material handling technology, as well as the design and construction of control systems such as control cabinets and E-containers. The service division covers conversion, modernization, maintenance, UVV inspections, 24-hour crane service, spare parts service and complete maintenance of crane systems up to 365 t, including the maintenance of rail vehicles with general inspections and brake tests. TEICHMANN KRANE in Essen is regarded as Europe's largest manufacturer-independent supplier of fully overhauled used cranes and operates Europe's largest crane spare parts warehouse. Customers come from handling and logistics, metallurgy, energy and major project construction, including ArcelorMittal in Eisenhüttenstadt.
