TELEMESS - Telemetrie und Messtechnik GmbH was founded in 1995 in Kressbronn on Lake Constance by former employees of the discontinued Dornier business unit "Industrial Systems" and the business is now run by the second generation. Since 1995 the company has manufactured and distributed the non-contact displacement measuring system I-W-A and applies strain gauges (SGs) to customer specifications, including on-site displacement and strain gauge measurement tasks. In addition, TELEMESS offers electronics development (hardware and software), contract assembly and device manufacturing, weld seam detection, PCB deflection measurement, as well as reporting and project documentation. Typical applications are strain gauge load cells for force measurement on the Zeppelin empennage, strain gauge applications on the rotor mast and rotor blades of ultralight helicopters, stress measurement on PCB panels, and applying a titanium shaft as a measurement standard. Customers include mechanical engineering, aerospace, defence technology and research, including ZLT – Zeppelin Luftschifftechnik. The company is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001.
