About TENSID-CHEMIE

TENSID-CHEMIE GmbH is a mid-sized manufacturer of cleaning and disinfectant agents for the beverage and food industry as well as the large-scale catering sector. Since 1963, products on a predominantly aqueous basis have been developed and produced at the site in Baden-Württemberg. Production consists of mixing liquid and solid chemicals; used among other things are inorganic and organic acids and alkalis, water hardness stabilisers, surfactants, sodium hypochlorite, alcohols, peracetic acid and hydrogen peroxide solutions. The systems are equipped with modern safety technology such as interlock valves and overfill protection; filling is carried out in canisters, drums, IBCs and tank trucks. As a system provider, the company offers, in addition to its products, individual consulting, application technology, process optimisation as well as dosing and control technology including plant engineering with chain lubrication systems, foam and decanting stations. The product range also includes water treatment agents and chain lubrication products. Since 17.04.2023, the plant has been subject to the upper class of the Major Accidents Ordinance (12. BImSchV) as an operational area.
