About Terma
Terma A/S is a Danish aerospace and defense company headquartered in Lystrup near Aarhus, founded in 1949 and majority-owned by the Thomas B. Thrige Foundation. The company develops and manufactures mission-critical products: composite and metal aerostructures (including more than 80 parts for the F-35 program), electronics manufacturing (EMS) for avionics and space applications, and SCANTER surveillance radar for ports, airports, coastal surveillance and offshore wind farms. Aerostructures manufacturing in Grenaa includes prepreg lay-up in a clean room (3,000 m²), autoclave curing, CNC precision milling of titanium, aluminium and steel with tolerances down to +0.001", heat treatment to AMS-2770 as well as chromic acid anodizing, Alodine 600/1200S and painting. Production runs paperless, lean-oriented and Six Sigma certified in NATO-secure manufacturing environments. With more than 2,600 employees and locations in Europe, the USA, Asia and the Middle East, Terma supplies among others Lockheed Martin, ESA and MDA Space.
